Senate Next Up For Intelligence Reform

I am still skeptical about this intelligence reform bill and its ability to resolve the core issues within the intelligence community. I was never really worried about the warfighter getting the intelligence even with passage of this bill. The true problems, bureacracy, wasteful spending, political correctness, critical hirings, language skill shortage, duplicative programs, intra-community sharing, middle management avoiding risk, and a host of others will probably not be resolved with passage of this bill. Seems like we are just pacifying the 9-11 families. Has anyone told them 9-11 was not an intelligence failure, but a systemic failure? Will this intelligence bill call for the congressional oversight committees to cut their own pork, and call for them to work together to effectively oversee intelligence, homeland security, and the armed services?
