Baltimore Makes List Of Most Dangerous Cities

Morgan Quitno website has the rankings for the most dangerous cities in America based upon population. No surprise that Balitmore is right up there as one of the most dangerous. Hmmm, be interesting to compare which of the cities are run by Democrats and which by Republicans. Money says the safest have more Republican regimes while the most dangerous go the other way. If NYC could do it why not Baltimore. Oh, by the way, NYC isn't even in the top 25 most dangerous.//JW sends.

The rankings look at the rate for six crime categories: Murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and auto theft. It compares 350 cities with populations of 75-thousand or more that reported crime data to the F-B-I.

Among cities with a population of at least 500-thousand people, Detroit topped the list, Washington was second and Baltimore was third.
