Minority voters being ignored???

Claude Lewis states both parties are ignoring minorities.
//JW's Desknote: I wonder about the truth in this story. The author states the Republicans (President Bush has the most diverse cabinet in recent memory. The author fails to mention two other African-Americans, the Education Sec'y and HUD Sec'y) write off the black vote while the Dems take it for granted. Not necessarily untrue, but perhaps the author himself is spouting the same old, same old as well. Most of the "minority" issues are really state/local issues and not FEDERAL issues. Yet, voters continue to support the DEMS in these locales; definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results. Maybe the urban areas need to look Republican or at least independent and attempt to achieve tougher standards on their cities. It is NOT a cop out to say that the issues noted by the author are NOT Federal, but state and local for that it is the truth. And sometimes the truth hurts...More to follow//JW sends.
