And Now to New Jersey!
I was just doing some Electoral College math and decided that if Bush wins New Jersey, then I'm going to bed early on Tuesday night. If Bush wins NJ and keeps his standard Red states (including Fla.) then the worst he could do is a tie. A tie goes to the house for a vote on the President, while the Senate votes on the Vice-President. If Bush wins NJ he can afford to lose PA, OH, WI, MN, MI, IA, NH, and New Mexico; again assuming he keeps the rest of his Red states that he won in 2000. With some polls in NJ showing a dead heat, I sure wouldn't mind the President detouring to the Garden State one more time before election day...More to follow//JW sends.
